CCR's Role 

CCR typically advises the project developer in the transaction.
​In an IPO, this is undertaken in association with an IPO team of professionals, which CCR will identify and assemble and then determine the most appropriate strategy to achieve the IPO.
 
CCR will select and recommend professional appointments making up the IPO team emcompassing:
An investment bank (“IB”) to manage and underwrite the IPO fund raising;
Legal counsel; 
Audit and reporting accountants;
Valuers for plant and machinery, fixtures and fittings;
Stockbrokers to ensure continuous research coverage of the listed company and thus generate investment interest and liquidity in the shares after listing;
Investor  Relations  (“IR”)  firm  to  manage  the public relations exposure of the IPO;
Selection of the IPO team will also need the active input of the client’s senior management / directors. 

CCR needs to Understand the Client
• Its background, its operating and financial position both historical and going forward.
• Its shareholders, their preferences, and its management which should be aligned;
• It’s strategic objectives in product development, market penetration,
    geographic expansion and future deployment of funds.
  
Specifically, CCR functions as the Client’s Project Coordinator representing the interests of the client’s board, its senior management and the IPO team.
